Welcome to our online store! Eldene Traders (Pty) Ltd and its associates provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit our website, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. ​

SHIPPING POLICY

  1. ELDENE TRADERS (PTY) Ltd does not have a physical retail store, as yet. We are an import and export buying agent and arrange delivery nationwide. We do not allow for order collections from our office or warehouse unless a prior arrangement has been made with our dispatch team, and this special concession is at our convenience and is discretionary.  If you have a range pick up from Eldene Traders (PTY) Ltd please wait for us to confirm that your order is ready as some items are not kept on hand! Please also note that 3rd party items are not ordered until payment is received. 
  2. Eldene will from time to time offer promotional shipping rates, for example, FREE DELIVERY for certain products.
  3. Our standard nationwide shipping cost for 0.5kg – 1 kg is R108 incl. VAT (R200 incl. VAT for Cape) however please note the following:
    In the case of OUTLYING AREAS or LARGE ORDERS, we reserve the right to use any cost-effective delivery method including the South African Post Office. Some items (heavy or large, based on volumetric weight) may carry additional delivery fees. If we are unable to obtain a cost-effective shipping rate to your location we will advise you of the additional shipping costs and the following options will apply:
    • You can pay those additional shipping costs or
    • Arrange your courier from our warehouse or
  4. Delivery Times: We endeavor to ensure all orders are shipped out as soon as possible! Orders can take 5-14 working days after payment. Small parcel orders after 1 pm will only be processed the following day, delivery time will be the next day on free Shipping products.
    Please note we do NOT deliver to farms!
  5. The service we offer is a door-to-door service unless we send it counter-to-counter to your local post office due to your location. This means that the shipment is delivered to the address, not the person. i.e. If the person is not available it shall be left with anyone at that address e.g. security, staff, reception, etc. Signature is required. Depending on the location of your order it will be delivered within 24 – 72 hours, except if shipping is imported,  however, if we deliver via the South African post office or if your location is remote shipping times can vary substantially.
  6. It is mandatory to leave a telephone or mobile number for us to contact you during delivery hours.

  7. Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as the title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises. Where possible please use a business address for delivery as the courier will not leave a package without a signature.
    Undeliverable packages:
  8. Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.
    Order processing:
  9. Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment reflected in our bank account. Orders placed after 1 pm are only processed the following.
  10. You can track the status of your order online using the tracking number we provided.
  11. Standard Shipping will take 2 to 4 working days. International Shipping can take 5-14 days depending on the order.
  12. Express Shipping can be arranged at an additional cost.
  13. Eldene will from time to time offer promotional shipping rates, for example, free delivery for certain products.
  14. Eldene Store reserves the right to amend shipping costs at any time. All changes will be disclosed here.

Delivery Policy

When you confirm your order and make payment with us legal obligations arise and your right to a refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us is limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions as displayed. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website. 

RETURN POLICY

Customer satisfaction is our number one concern. We do our utmost best to supply only the best quality products, however, our “no quibbles” guarantee means that if you are not entirely happy with your order you can return it to us within 15 days for a refund or a replacement of the incorrect product.

If you wish to return any product please contact [email protected], and give us the specifics – your order number, your name and address, details of the product, and the reason for the return. Once your return has been authorized please pack it up and post it back to us. 

Eldene Traders (PTY) Ltd will not cover the return postage of unwanted products, however, if you are returning a product that is faulty, damaged, or has been incorrectly dispatched please read the “Faulty or Incorrect Goods” section below.

Returned goods must be received in the original, unused condition and packaging with all components intact. All products returned to us will be thoroughly checked by our Dispatch Department and only then will a refund, replacement, or exchange be authorized and processed. We will not be able to refund Customs Duties, Courier Costs, International Shipping costs, or Bank Transfer Costs. Only Product Costs.

Returns are usually processed within 10 working days of receipt. Please allow an extra 2-3 days for the money to clear in your bank account.

FAULTY OR INCORRECT GOODS

All Eldene Traders products are individually checked before dispatching. In the unlikely event of an item being faulty or incorrect then please contact [email protected] within 15 days, quoting your order and invoice number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement.

If you are returning an item that is faulty or incorrect, we will happily refund your costs associated with returning it to us. Any items returned to us should include all parts, accessories, instructions, and packaging where possible.

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old or visiting the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

When you visit the Eldene Traders or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. Eldene Store trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not Eldene Store, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits Eldene Store. All items purchased from Eldene Traders (PTY) Ltd are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Eldene Traders (PTY) Ltd and its associates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Eldene Traders does not warrant that product descriptions or other content on this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Eldene Traders (Pty) Ltd itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

By visiting Eldene Traders (PTY) Ltd, you agree that the laws of South Africa, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Eldene Traders (PTY) Ltd or its associates.

DISPUTES

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to Eldene Traders or to products you purchase through Eldene Buying Agent shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in South Africa, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Eldene Traders intellectual property rights, Eldene Store may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or court in the country of South Africa, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the Republic of South Africa Arbitration Association. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

SITE POLICIES, MODIFICATION, AND SEVERABILITY

Please review our other policies, such as our Shipping and Returns policy, posted on this site. These policies also govern your visit to the Eldene Store. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. We would like to invite you to still email us for any queries or product problems you may have to [email protected]

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards and Coupons
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Products with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced/no discounted or sales items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
